S4NH - Skills for New Horizons
Skills for New Horizons aims at promoting economic and social development in the field of sports management
Summary
According to the need analysis, there is a lack of professional competences in the sports sector, which often entails a lack of people trained and specialized in management. Skills for New Horizons aims at promoting economic and social development in the field of sports management by elaborating and providing a full training course oriented to young people interested in starting their own business. And while doing this, to contribute in promoting entrepreneurship and European international cooperation to embrace the challenges the sector is facing, and more concretely those regarding the COVID-19. And last but not least, to promote the results among the participant partners and their stakeholders, as well as all the institutions, individuals, NGO’s, associations already working or willing to work in the field, all in a sustainable way.
To reach these objectives, a work team of 5 partners has been formed. The consortium is led by ALFAFIN(Italy) as an applicant organization, and followed by Champions Factory (Bulgaria), Sport Association Iron Man (Poland), Association Center for Development of Structural Funds (Romania) and EAS SEGAS (Greece). They are coming from different countries and different fields of work, but with the same mission of working to promote social inclusion with an environmental dimension.
Therefore, our project partners will be in charge of implementing the following actions:
Provide a complete training for 20 active young people working in the field of sport or/and interested opening their own business.
Successfully organize 5 events to promote young entrepreneurship in the field of sport through the project results (100 attendants expected)
Promote an open and free knowledge ( MOOC , free manual, youtube's channel) to ensure project sustainability and continuity in time.
